This series of Coastal Vibes in Cornwall is produced with layers of acrylic on canvas adding canvas textural collage. Organic and geometrical shapes aid a dynamic abstract representation of surfaces and structures conveying an emotional response to time and place.
‘A moment in time and place’ invites the natural world to merge with reflection on personal interpretations.

Collage pieces are a fun way to interpret visual responses to places, emotions, thoughts, the list is endless.
I mostly use collage pieces that I make myself out of canvas or paper. Occasionally I'll add some found objects or vintage printed paper. Its always exciting to see how one small scrap can morf into its own creation.
